The foundation to every great team building event is built on the facilitators who lead your program. Yes, you need content and you need structure. But most important are the folks who will join with you; making your time fun, special and rewarding. How do I choose the best team building facilitators? Very carefully…haha…but true! Here’s some insight into how we put our event staff together.

Talent and Experience
Talent and experience are important attributes for our music team building facilitators. Our team members all have proven talent, with lists of credits that include Grammy, Emmy, CMA awards and credits as hit songwriters and performers. But talent and experience are not enough. There’s a magic combination of additional attributes that we need from each of our facilitators.
Magic Combination
It’s the combination of right brain and left brain thinking; the ability to be a performer, an entertainer and a collaborator, while staying engaged on an intellectual level. Each of our facilitators knows how to lead a group from point A to point Z with method, purpose and within a given time frame. In other words, we need to be entertaining, funny and musical – yet intellectual and organized all at the same time. That’s the magic!
The Best Team Building Facilitators For Each Event
Part of my personal challenge, as President of our tuneful company, is combining the best team building facilitators for each event. It’s similar to choosing the right players to make up a ball team or an orchestra. I look for talent that speaks to each specific client’s culture and goals. And I look for diversity of skill within my team at each event. For example, we led a team building through song program for a major broadcasting company’s hip-hop and pop radio stations. Their goal was to create songs about the work their production, sales and administrative team does behind the scenes. For this client, we flew a songwriter-facilitator who writes hip-hop lyrics all the way from Los Angeles to London…just because she was the best fit for this client.
