I’d been thinking about ways of tying our musical team building programs in with corporate social responsibility, for about a year. I hadn’t come up with a program that served both purposes honorably, and so I kept putting this on the back burner. But recently a client asked me to design an event incorporating their commitment to giving back to the community. I was impressed with this company’s sincere desire to tie-in a team building program with giving back. Their passion for this inspired me to find a way.

I took inspiration from the fact that our Nashville team building programs are a part of the greater ‘Music City’ community and also that I’m currently PTO co-president for Nashville School of Arts, a public magnet high school. The tie-in became obvious to me, as many public schools across the country are in desperate need of art funding, musical instruments and enhanced creative curriculum support.

Welcome to Community Giving & Musical Team Building

Wherever you hold your event, be it San Diego, Chicago, Nashville or anywhere; we’ll help you find a worthwhile school or student organization to support. We’ll invite members from the school to be a part of your team’s song performances and after those performances, your organization will be able to present the school with donations of musical instruments. I’ve designed this program so your company’s team building goals and process are not diluted. There’s a natural opportunity after your group has finished writing your songs to invite participation from talented students, through playing of percussion, dancing and even impromptu back-up vocals. Don’t forget that kids are easily creative and don’t need much coaxing to take part. In fact, you will learn from them!

I’ll soon have a page up on our website dedicated to the details about this program and I’m really excited to be offering it – finally!
